As we close the chapter on 2024, the Virtual Worlds Museum™ is thrilled to share some of the year's highlights and announce exciting plans for 2025.

AUREA Impact Award Winner!

We are proud to announce that, in partnership with Arrival.Space, our WebXR Worlds Exhibit has been honored with the prestigious AUREA Impact Award. This award recognizes our commitment to creating immersive experiences that not only entertain but also educate and inspire. The WebXR Worlds Exhibit has been instrumental in advancing our mission to preserve and showcase the rich history of virtual worlds.

Kickstarter Campaign Launching February 11, 2025

Mark your calendars! On February 11, 2025, we will be launching a Kickstarter campaign to support our upcoming projects. This crowdfunder will enable us to continue developing innovative exhibits and expanding our collection. Our Director, Julian Reyes, was deeply honored to join visionaries Tony Parisi and Cynthia Maller onstage at the SplitX Summit 2024. SplitX is a global platform dedicated to exploring the intersection of technology and innovation, and it was a privilege to contribute to the conversation.

Julian, Tony, and Cynthia shared their insights on the dynamic relationship between art and technology, a topic that sparked engaging audience participation and inspired lively dialogue. Speaking alongside Tony Parisi, a trailblazer in virtual reality, music, and 3D web technologies, and Cynthia Maller, Leading 3D Creative Tech Innovator, made the experience truly memorable.
